About me
Rosten Callarman has served as Executive Director of Habitat Abilene since 2021. A former minister, his time in the nonprofit world has included work in low-income neighborhoods, with survivors of domestic violence, and with our neighbors experiencing homelessness. He was part of the team that achieved a functional end to veteran homelessness and chronic homelessness in Abilene, and has recently been named the chair for ending family homelessness in Abilene as part of his work with Habitat Abilene. He is married to Laura and father to Asher, Evangeline, and Genevieve. He is part of an intentional Christian community called Eden Community and is an avid smoker of meats.
