As Managing Director of Higginbotham’s Employee Benefits division, Cody is a highly accomplished professional experienced in serving small to mid-sized markets (20 to 2,000 employees). His proven success in business
development, client retention, and strategic planning is anchored in principles of integrity and proactive engagement, ensuring his clients benefit from his commitment to service excellence.
Cody works with executives and HR professionals on strategic planning, claims analysis, and contribution strategies, while overseeing the overall client relationship. As the primary contact for health and welfare plan management, he specializes in developing short- and long-term strategies focusing on cost mitigation, program design, seamless implementation, and year-round support of employer-sponsored benefit programs.
In addition to his professional commitments, Cody volunteers as a youth sports coach for Lonestar Soccer Club and Oakhill Youth Sports Association (OHYSA) in Austin, TX, and previously served as chair of the SEC Alumni Club.
